Some concerns
small gym water charge
The gym facility was disappointing with only one running machine. Another guest used it for a full hour and I had to wait. I found it ridiculous that there was an extra charge for drinking water. I think it should be included in the room rate.

small gym inadequate pedicure
The gym was not up to par. it had only one running machine that was occupied for extended periods. the spa treatments also need improvement. My pedicure lacked essential steps like soaking and scrubbing, which left dead skin.

friendly staff convenient location missing armchair lacking details
the front desk staff seemed friendly. the restaurant and rooms staff also seemed nice. the hotel's location provided convenience. i found it easy to access nearby attractions.
i found the hotel details somewhat lacking. there was no armchair and coffee table in my room. i would expect these in a five star hotel.

shuttle service beautiful decor friendly staff small gym water charge isolated location
the hotel had beautiful decor, I thought. the staff were magnificent! the breakfast was superb. i also found the complimentary shuttle service to kirstenbosch gardens helpful.
the gym reminded me of an afterthought and was very small! one guest used the single running machine for an hour, i saw. i thought there was an additional charge for drinking water. the location seemed quite isolated to me.

well kept gardens good food some moths unclean floors
The hotel gardens are well kept. The onsite restaurant has very good food. (I especially liked the dinner menu!)
My room had some moths. The floors could have been cleaner (some mold in the bathroom was visible).
